Ollie (they/them) joins GE Family Services as a Master of Social Work intern from Simmons University. Ollie has extensive experience working with transition aged youth, ages 14 to 21. They also have lived and professional experience with the Jewish and LGBTQ community. Prioritizing client autonomy, Ollie creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore feelings, learn skills, discover strengths, and grow on their own healing path.

I’ve lived in Alaska for most of my life. I graduated from Eagle River High in 2009 where I then went to University of Alaska Fairbanks where I got my Bachelor’s in Psychology (2013). After that, I went to University of Alaska Anchorage to obtain my Bachelor’s of Social Work (2016). I’ve been working in the field since then, focusing on family services.

I welcome all people of from all walks of life as a master of their own experiences. My perspective is to work with you at your level as a team to reach whatever your goals are!

When not dedicating my time to helping others, I enjoy spending time with my wife, my many fur babies, and a good session of Dungeons and Dragons.
