Policies

The following policies relate to all continuing education, training, and consultation services

Policy concerning program fees, refunds, and cancellation

Fees: All fees are final unless stated by GE Family Services. Also, all fees are to be paid at the time of registration for the events (i.e., workshops, trainings, lectures).

​

Refunds: All payments are final, meaning no refunds. See “cancellation” for caveat.

​

Cancellation: A) If GE Family Services cancels a live event (i.e., workshop, training, or lecture) that has been pre-paid by an attendee, a refund will be provided within two (2) weeks of the set date of the event. B) If a rain-date has been set as a result of the cancellation, pre-paid attendees may use admittance for that event or any other future equal costing event of their choice.

Policy concerning the review and resolution of attendee/participant complaints and disputes related to programs

Policy Concerning the Confidentiality and Security of Participant Information

​

GE Family Services is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality and security of all participant information in our continuing education, training, and consultation services. We adhere to the highest standards of data privacy and take every reasonable measure to ensure the protection of sensitive information.

  1. Collection and Use of Information:
    Participant information is collected solely for purposes related to the registration, delivery, and evaluation of GE Family Services programs. Information is not shared with third parties unless required by law or explicitly authorized by the participant.

  2. Data Security Measures:
    GE Family Services employs secure data storage systems and encryption protocols to protect all participant information. Access to such information is strictly limited to authorized personnel.

  3. Confidentiality Assurance:
    Participant information, including attendance, feedback, and other program-related data, will remain confidential. Identifiable participant data will not be disclosed in training reports, publications, or presentations.

  4. Participant Rights:
    Participants have the right to review, update, or request the deletion of their personal information by contacting us at info@gefamilyservices.org.

  5. Breach Notification:
    In the unlikely event of a data breach involving participant information, GE Family Services will notify affected individuals promptly and take immediate corrective action.

  6. Third-Party Services:
    If third-party platforms are used to facilitate training or consultation services (e.g., video conferencing), GE Family Services ensures these platforms comply with recognized security and confidentiality standards.
