Samantha Joins GE Family Services as a Master level Social Work intern to work with teens and adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and family issues.
Hello! My name is Samantha, and I’m excited to join GE Family Services as a Master’s level clinical intern. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Kentucky, with plans to graduate in the spring of 2025. I completed my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the spring of 2024. I am originally from Fairbanks Alaska. I have a strong passion for DIY projects and love flipping furniture. In my down time I enjoy playing tennis, baking, and going on adventures with my 3 year old Belgian Malinois (he’s a handful!).
I focus on working with teens and adults who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and family issues. All sessions are conducted remotely, allowing me to provide flexible and accessible support tailored to each client’s needs.
I am passionate about helping clients discover their inner strengths and build resilience during difficult times. My goal is to create a supportive, empathetic environment where clients feel heard and understood as they work towards healing and personal growth.
