Hello, I am so grateful you are taking the first step to reach your goals. 

My name is Tia Kraus. I am currently living on the traditional lands of the Tanana Dene in interior Alaska. I am Indigenous from Nenana, Alaska. I really love laughing and making others laugh. I strive to find joy in everything I do. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and experiencing the beauty of the outdoors. Specifically kayaking and backpacking adventures.

 

I am a clinically licensed social worker who has experience working with youth and families. I have worked in a school setting for the past eleven years. I have experience working with trauma, depression, foster care, anxiety, LGBTQ+, and transgender clients. 

 

I incorporate a collaborative therapeutic approach that is person-centered, strength-based, and promotes autonomy that honors the individual.  My eclectic approach is crafted to help each individual get what they need in a supportive and understanding environment.
